History of the Frigerio Group: 70 years of history

1946 – 1952
Purchase of the first real bus
In mid-1948 he purchased his first real bus, foregoing the purchase of a hotel in Monte Carlo.

1953-1962
Acquisition of public line Renate-Veduggio-Zoccorino-Seregno
In the very early 1950s, Ugo acquired the public Renate-Veduggio-Zoccorino-Seregno line. Thereafter he expanded the fleet of vehicles, withdrawing 4 coaches from the Alcione bus line and related permits.

1963 – 1974
bus fleet strengthened
Enrica greatly improves the quality and quantity of programs and services offered to clients, and the name already well known in the area for its seriousness and reliability gains new market shares

1975 – 1989
A very special year, where all of Enrica’s expectations are met
25 groups (consisting of an average of 2 buses per departure) to Rome alone, not counting the groups that extended the tour to central Italy (Assisi being the most popular destination) and the first trips to France, where in addition to Paris much in demand was Lourdes.

1990 – 1998
A decade of great development for the company as it expands further
the entry first of Paola, in 1992, and next of Simone, in 1994. Paola, while finishing High School for Interpreters and Translators in Milan, worked for several years as a tour leader, accompanying groups in Italy and Europe.

1999 – 2007
The millennium is ending, but Frigerio Viaggi continues to grow and expand
in addition to opening another proprietary branch, the Frigerio family, building on its experience in the industry, wants to clone its format and affiliate new entrepreneurs who have experience in the industry and share values, tools and strategies

2008 – 2014
Due to the global economic crisis, some major national tourism players are beginning to “fall”
In 2010/2012, the entire tourism sector is affected by a negative trend due to the reduction in consumption, which in fact affects all sectors.

2015 – 2024
In 2015, Milan is hosting Expo2015: the Universal Exposition dedicated to the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”
wanted to include everything from food education to food shortages that plague many areas of the world. Milan for 6 months ends up in the global spotlight and welcomes more than 22 million visitors from around the globe.
